We are seeking a Marketing Operations Strategist to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will build repeatable, measurable marketing systems that align with company goals, using HubSpot, AI-driven automation, and data science to turn marketing data into smarter decisions. This role is ideal for a results-driven, creative, and collaborative leader with a strong B2B SaaS background who enjoys managing projects, documenting processes, analyzing performance, and optimizing the website for better user experience, conversion rates, and lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Design and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, target markets, and healthcare IT industry trends.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define marketing goals, KPIs, and budgets.
AI-Focused Marketing Workflows
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows for lead scoring, content generation, audience segmentation, chatbots, and campaign personalization.
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools (including HubSpot's AI features) into the marketing stack, with clear guidelines for quality, brand voice, and HIPAA-conscious data use.
Data Science & Marketing Analytics
- Apply statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and attribution modeling to forecast pipeline, identify high-value segments, and measure channel effectiveness.
- Design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across emails, landing pages, and website experiences, turning results into actionable recommendations.
HubSpot & Marketing Automation
- Manage HubSpot (Marketing, Sales, Service, and CMS Hubs), including automation workflows, processes, and data hygiene.
- Analyze reports and dashboards in HubSpot to track KPIs, campaign performance, and ROI for stakeholders.
Campaign & Website Optimization
- Build and manage the email marketing program from segmentation to execution.
- Improve forms, email templates, landing pages, and website experiences to increase conversion rates and lead generation.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Manage marketing operations projects from initiation to completion, tracking progress, risks, and bottlenecks to stay on schedule and within budget.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams to integrate processes and document repeatable workflows.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, and project management, preferably in B2B SaaS.
- Advanced expertise in HubSpot (Marketing, Sales, Service, and CMS Hubs) and strong proficiency in marketing automation technologies.
- Hands-on experience building AI-assisted marketing workflows (e.g., predictive lead scoring, AI content tools, chatbots, or personalization).
- Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Advanced database management and data visualization skills.
- Solid understanding of customer journey mapping and business processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects at once.
- Strong communication skills, including knowing how to ask the right questions and turn answers into systems.
Preferred
- HubSpot certifications (Marketing, Sales, Operations, or related).
- Experience as a HubSpot trainer or in HubSpot customer support.
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for marketing data analysis.
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with marketing attribution, predictive analytics, or machine learning concepts.
- Experience marketing to healthcare providers or in health IT, with awareness of HIPAA considerations.
A Day in the Life
Your day blends strategy, systems, and data. You might start by reviewing HubSpot dashboards to check overnight campaign results and pipeline movement, then meet with Sales to refine how AI-driven lead scores route new leads to the right reps. Later, you could be building an automated nurture workflow that personalizes content by specialty, analyzing an A/B test on a demo-request landing page, or running a quick attribution analysis to show leadership which channels are actually driving booked demos. Along the way, you're cleaning up data, documenting processes so they can be repeated, keeping marketing projects on track, and testing new AI tools to see where they can save the team time without compromising quality.
Success Metrics
- Pipeline and revenue growth: Measurable increases in marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), demo requests, and marketing-sourced revenue.
- Conversion improvements: Higher conversion rates across the website, landing pages, forms, and email campaigns, validated through A/B testing.
- AI-driven efficiency: AI and automation workflows in place that reduce manual work, improve lead scoring accuracy, and speed up campaign execution.
- Data quality and insight: Clean, reliable HubSpot data and accurate dashboards and attribution reporting that leadership uses to make decisions.
- Operational excellence: Marketing projects delivered on time and within budget, with documented, repeatable processes adopted across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service.
